Lincolnshire Wedding Videographer

Elegant Wedding at Aswarby Rectory | Claire & Chris

Claire and Chris’s wedding at Aswarby Rectory was the perfect example of understated luxury. Calm, elegant, and beautifully intentional from start to finish.

As a Lincolnshire wedding videographer, I’ve filmed at a wide range of venues across the UK, but Aswarby Rectory remains one of the most distinctive wedding venues in the country. Its Georgian architecture, muted interiors, natural textures, and soft window light create an atmosphere that feels effortlessly cinematic without ever trying too hard and I love it!

What makes filming at Aswarby Rectory so special is the simplicity of the space. Rather than relying on extravagant styling or over-the-top décor, the venue itself does the work. Claire and Chris embraced that aesthetic perfectly, from the florals to allowing the emotion, atmosphere, and connection between people to become the focus of the day.

For a documentary wedding videographer, venues like this are ideal. The calm pace of the day, combined with the minimalist design of the Rectory, creates space for genuine moments to unfold naturally. Nothing felt forced or overly staged. Every part of the wedding felt relaxed, intimate, and authentic.

This continued into the evening, as Clare changed into her stunning evening dress and we headed down the driveway to capture some stunning golden hour content.

Filming a Wedding at Aswarby Rectory

One of the reasons Aswarby Rectory has become such a sought-after luxury wedding venue is because of how thoughtfully curated the entire experience feels. From the private gardens to the surrounding Lincolnshire countryside, every location offers beautiful natural backdrops for photography and videography.

For Claire and Chris’s portrait session, we used the driveway and road to create something cinematic while still keeping the natural, editorial feel that suited the venue so well. The open space around the Rectory gives couples a sense of privacy and calm that translates beautifully into film.

When couples are planning a wedding at Aswarby Rectory, I always believe the videography style should complement the venue itself. A heavily staged or overly flashy wedding film can feel disconnected from the atmosphere here. My approach focuses on natural storytelling, honest emotion, and timeless visuals that match the clean and elegant aesthetic of the venue and the couple.

If you are searching for an Aswarby Rectory wedding videographer or a Lincolnshire wedding videographer who specialises in cinematic documentary wedding films, I’d love to hear from you.
