Hales Hall

A Norfolk wedding videographer with a simple approach to wedding videography

I’ve been a professional wedding videographer for the last 7 years. During that time I’ve learnt a lot about wedding videography. Having won awards I’m regarded as one of the top wedding videographers in the East of England. Although I’m based in Norfolk, I’ve filmed for international superstars and celebrities and have travelled to many destinations doing so.

My approach to filming a wedding is simple, less is more. Over the years I’ve learnt the best way to film is to be discreet and let things unfold naturally throughout the day. To do this I keep my equipment minimal and blend into your wedding as if I am a guest.

I’m not a fan of posing/scripting, my style is natural and timeless and about capturing moments between people.

I enjoy meeting new people and having a giggle, interacting with guests and putting people at ease which allows me to film candidly. I’ve struck up a lot of friendships over the years with my clients and their guests and it’s a part of my job I really enjoy.

It’s this ability which enables me to film your wedding from a perspective not many other videographers see. Some of the best footage I’ve ever filmed is because I’m within the wedding and not an onlooker filming from the outside.

You’ll receive a stunning wedding film which will be relevant to you for years to come. If you’d like to discuss my approach to filming your wedding in more detail, please get in touch.

My approach to filming a wedding

I’m totally aware that most people don’t like or want to be filmed. They feel awkward and self-conscious.

My approach to wedding videography is simple, keep it simple. I don’t bring masses of equipment to intimidate you. I don’t pose unnaturally or crack out horrendous one-liners like ‘fake laugh for me’.

When I film I keep things natural and honest. I don’t stand in the corner ignoring you and your guests and awkwardly film. I engage with the people I’m filming, I laugh, smile, have a good time and help put them at ease and have a great time.

My approach to wedding videography has led me to win wedding videographer awards and capture some truly amazing moments on film.

It’s also lead me to film in some incredible venues and places all over the world. I’m passionate about what I do, capturing incredible memories on film for people to treasure for years to come.
