There is a timeless elegance to a traditional English wedding, and Beth and Sam’s celebration was the perfect example of just how magical they can be. As a Browns Films filming weddings across Norfolk, I have the privilege of working at some incredible venues, but there is something uniquely special about a marquee wedding at the family home. It brings a level of warmth, personality, and history that simply cannot be recreated anywhere else.
Beth and Sam’s wedding was the perfect blend of classic countryside charm and relaxed luxury. The day began with a beautiful ceremony at Hingham Church in the heart of Norfolk, surrounded by family & Friends.
The atmosphere inside the church was emotional, joyful, and full of anticipation for the celebrations ahead.
One of the standout moments from the ceremony came courtesy of the couple’s dog, who made a surprise appearance to deliver the wedding rings during a brilliantly timed moment where everyone briefly believed the rings had been forgotten. It was one of those genuine, unscripted moments that perfectly reflected the personality of the day and exactly why I love filming weddings in a natural, documentary style.
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the family farm for an incredible marquee reception set within the gardens of Beth’s parents’ home. Luxury marquee specialists Morton Events transformed the space beautifully, creating an elegant yet relaxed setting for the evening celebrations. With around 130 guests, live music, amazing food, and uninterrupted Norfolk sunshine, the entire day felt effortlessly stylish from beginning to end.
As a Norfolk wedding videographer, golden hour is always one of my favourite parts of any wedding day, and Beth and Sam were treated to an absolutely stunning sunset. The warm evening light across the fields created the perfect cinematic backdrop for their couple portraits alongside Sharon Cudworth Photography.
Beth looked incredible in her bespoke gown from Emma Beaumont Atelier, while the atmosphere throughout the evening was brought to life by live performances from Sorsha Seven and the unbelievably energetic The Phat Cats, who kept the dance floor packed all night long.
Working alongside talented Norfolk wedding suppliers always helps create a seamless experience for couples, and it was brilliant to film alongside Sharon Cudworth once again, with planning by Emily Andrew Events helping everything flow perfectly throughout the day.
If you are planning a Norfolk marquee wedding, countryside wedding, or church wedding in Norfolk and are looking for a Norfolk wedding videographer to capture the atmosphere, emotion, and natural moments of your day without awkward posing or staging, I would love to hear more about your plans.
