If there is one phrase to describe Cat and Jack’s wedding, it is unapologetic energy. This was a celebration defined by big personalities, loud laughter, and a refusal to do things by halves. As a Suffolk wedding videographer, I often film couples who return to the coast to celebrate, but few have done it with quite this much style – and volume.
The day started with a touch of tradition: a stunning ceremony at the iconic church in Southwold. However, as soon as the vows were exchanged, the tone shifted from solemn to spectacular. The reception was held in a marquee on family land, giving the couple total freedom to host what was effectively an all-day festival of fun.
It was a joy to be back among familiar faces, having previously filmed the wedding of one of the bridesmaids, Bo & Oli. Walking into a wedding where you already know the crowd allows for a level of intimacy and trust that translates beautifully on camera. I knew this group knew how to party, but they still managed to surprise me.
From Cat’s incredible Vivienne Westwood gown to surprise flash mob bands and a show-stopping fireworks finale, the day was a non-stop visual feast. Working alongside the brilliant photographer Emily Tyler, we captured the chaos, the love, and the incredible atmosphere of a true countryside party.
