Filming a winter wedding at Wilderness Reserve for Kamla & James offered a completely different experience compared to the summer months. As a Wilderness Reserve wedding videographer, I had an incredible time filming this winter wedding. For this celebration at Chapel Barn, the focus was on the cozy, high-end atmosphere of a luxury estate retreat, with a beautiful bride & roaring fires providing a warm backdrop.
Chapel Barn is an amazing space for a winter ceremony. As Kamala entered and walked down the aisle, I could see James was totally blown away by her beauty. For this wedding, the styling leaned into the season with an abundance of candlelight and deep, organic florals. Capturing a winter wedding poses a unique challenge re lighting. Rather than working against it, I work with the light, exposing the highlights to create a film which is representative of how the wedding day felt.
Filming Kamala & James winter Suffolk wedding was an incredible experience, I was blown away by the effort and styling of the venue, alongside the incredible guests and couple.
