Molly and Marcus’ destination wedding at SPAO Borgo was the definition of an Italian destination wedding. Situated on the border of Umbria and Tuscany, this incredible Italian Villa offered a setting that felt both ancient and romantic. As a destination wedding videographer, capturing the unique architecture of SPAO alongside Josh, with its historic ruins and sweeping views, was an amazing experience.
Filming in the Allerona Nature Reserve SPAO Borgo is famous for its breathtaking open-air church, and it provided the most spectacular backdrop for the ceremony. Surrounded by medieval stone walls and the open sky, the vows felt intimate yet grand. The venue’s isolation in the Allerona Nature Reserve meant the couple and their guests had total privacy, allowing for a celebration that felt like a hidden world of its own.
The day was filled with golden Italian sunshine and effortless elegance. From the emotional wedding ceremony in the ruins to the candlelit dinner held in the hamlet’s square followed by an epic party! Every moment was soaked in atmosphere. We captured the joy of the guests enjoying the finest Italian cuisine and wine under the stars.
