When Wilderness Reserve opened the Blyth Estate, it promised a new level of luxury for Suffolk weddings. Stephanie and Daniel’s September celebration proved exactly that. As their Blyth Estate wedding videographer, I had the privilege of capturing not just the wedding day, but the incredible atmosphere of this exclusive-use venue. From the modern grandeur of the Barn to the rolling parkland, this wedding was a masterclass in modern estate luxury.
A Cinematic Reception Setting. Unlike the Georgian grandeur of Sibton Park, the Blyth Barn offers a unique blend of contemporary luxury and rustic architecture. Its vast, light-filled spaces provided a cinematic setting for the reception, allowing for wide, sweeping shots of the speeches and dancing that capture the sheer scale of the celebration.
Golden Hour Portraits on the Parkland. We were gifted with one of those perfect late-summer days that Suffolk is famous for. As the sun began to dip over the Wilderness Reserve parkland, we stole Stephanie and Daniel away for their portrait session. The light across the Blyth Estate is particularly special; the open meadows allow the sun to stay low and golden for longer, creating that dreamy, cinematic look that defines my wedding videography style.
One of the reasons couples choose the Blyth Estate is for the full weekend experience. Capturing the relaxed energy of the guests enjoying the estate added a crucial layer to their wedding film, shifting the focus from just a “event” to a true weekend retreat.
