Stephanie & Daniel | Wilderness Reserve Blyth Estate Wedding

There are wedding venues that feel impressive, and then there are venues that feel like an entire experience. Wilderness Reserve Blyth Estate falls firmly into the latter. Set amongst rolling Suffolk countryside, lakes, woodland, and expansive parkland, the Blyth Estate offers a completely unique setting for couples wanting a luxury countryside wedding with space to truly celebrate across an entire weekend.

Stephanie and Daniel’s September wedding perfectly captured everything that makes the estate so special. Their day was stylish, energetic, emotional, and filled with the kind of genuine moments that make wedding films unforgettable. Working alongside Sharon Cudworth is also always a pleasure.

Ironically, their story began at another wedding. After first meeting, life took them in different directions for a couple of years before reconnecting during Covid. From there, everything moved quickly, and naturally. A year after getting back together, they welcomed their little girl, and the rest, as they say, is history. That sense of fun, family, and not taking life too seriously carried through every part of the wedding day.

As a Suffolk wedding videographer, I am always drawn to weddings where the atmosphere comes first, and Stephanie and Daniel made it clear from the beginning that they wanted a wedding film full of energy, personality, and real moments. From the drinks reception through to the packed dance floor, the entire day felt relaxed, vibrant, and completely authentic to them.

The reception took place inside the incredible Blyth Barn, Wilderness Reserve’s striking modern event space. Unlike the traditional Georgian feel of Sibton Park, the Barn combines contemporary architecture with rustic textures and huge open spaces, making it an incredible setting for cinematic wedding videography. The scale of the room created the perfect backdrop for emotional speeches, lively celebrations, and one of the most energetic evenings of the year.

One of the standout features of filming at the Blyth Estate is the surrounding landscape. As the evening approached, we escaped briefly into the Suffolk parkland for golden hour portraits. The open meadows around the estate allow the evening light to linger beautifully across the landscape, creating the kind of soft, cinematic sunset that every wedding videographer hopes for. Those quiet moments away from the celebration gave Stephanie and Daniel a chance to pause together while still keeping everything natural and unposed.

What makes a wedding at Wilderness Reserve Blyth Estate particularly unique is the full weekend atmosphere. Guests are able to fully settle into the estate, turning the wedding from a single-day event into a complete countryside retreat. Capturing those in-between moments, friends relaxing across the grounds, drinks in the evening sunshine, and guests fully immersed in the celebrations, added another layer to the final film and helped tell the story of the weekend as a whole.

The day was beautifully brought together by an incredible team of wedding suppliers, including live music from Truly Medley Deeply and Sax Classic, who ensured the dance floor stayed full long into the night.

If you are planning a wedding at Wilderness Reserve Blyth Estate and are looking for a Suffolk wedding videographer who focuses on natural storytelling, cinematic visuals, and capturing the atmosphere exactly as it felt, I would love to hear more about your plans.
