Lucinda and Zac’s wedding at Holkham Hall was one of those rare celebrations that combines scale, elegance, and pure energy in equal measure. A black tie Jewish wedding set within one of the most iconic estates in North Norfolk, it was a day filled with emotion, movement, and an unforgettable atmosphere from start to finish.
As a North Norfolk wedding videographer and a recommended supplier at the Holkham Estate, I’ve filmed at Holkham Hall many times, but this wedding stood out for its incredible styling, huge guest energy, and seamless flow between formal tradition and full-scale celebration. It was also featured on Smashing The Glass, which reflects just how special this day was.
The day began inside the breathtaking Holkham Hall Marble Hall, where Lucinda and Zac’s Jewish ceremony took place beneath the grand architecture and natural light that floods the space.
The chuppah, beautifully designed by Constance Rose Floristry, transformed the Marble Hall into something deeply personal and visually striking. Surrounded by floral detail and historic stonework, it created a perfect balance between tradition and modern luxury styling.
Lucinda’s entrance in her Lee Petra Grebenau gown was one of those moments that naturally quiets a room. Zac’s reaction as she walked down the aisle was immediate and emotional, exactly the kind of real moment that defines documentary wedding filmmaking.
With Rabbi Hannah Kingston leading the ceremony and seven friends and family members taking part in the blessings, the energy inside the Marble Hall was layered and dynamic. To ensure nothing was missed, I used a multi-camera and multi-microphone setup to capture every word, reaction, and interaction clearly while remaining completely unobtrusive throughout the ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests moved across the Holkham Estate to a stunning lakeside marquee designed by Sail & Peg.
The transition from the formal grandeur of the Hall to the open, celebratory atmosphere of the marquee is something Holkham does exceptionally well. The scale of the estate allows the day to feel like a journey rather than a single location.
Inside the marquee, a refined mauve and gold colour palette created a warm, elegant space that looked incredible on film. As a Norfolk wedding videographer, marquee lighting can often be challenging, but here everything worked beautifully with the natural light fading into evening.
Lucinda and Zac’s entrance set the tone immediately. Napkins in the air, a full room on its feet, and an instant shift into celebration mode. From that point on, the energy never dropped.
The evening was led by the incredible Jam Hot, who brought exactly the kind of high-energy performance that keeps a dance floor packed all night.
Jewish weddings at Holkham Hall are always known for their energy, but this one took it further. From the hora dancing to guests being lifted into the air on chairs, the entire marquee turned into a constant flow of movement and celebration.
One of the standout moments was Lucinda and Zac being lifted high above the crowd, surrounded by guests, music, and pure celebration. These are the moments that define Jewish wedding filmmaking, not staged, not directed, just real energy unfolding naturally.
As the night continued, the dance floor never emptied. It was one of those weddings where guests fully commit to the experience from start to finish, and that translates perfectly into film.

If you’re planning a wedding at Holkham Hall and are looking for a wedding videographer who understands the scale, logistics, and energy of filming on a large historic estate, I’d love to hear about your plans.
“We had numerous recommendations to use Browns Films, and seeing their previous work made it a no-brainer for us. On the day, they did such an incredible job of capturing the pure energy of our wedding without ever being intrusive. Watching the film back, it feels like we are reliving the atmosphere of the Marble Hall and that insane party all over again. We couldn’t be happier with how Tom told our story.”
