Voewood Wedding Videographer

Voewood is unlike most wedding venues in North Norfolk.

It doesn’t feel polished or conventional, and that’s exactly what makes it interesting to film.

As a documentary wedding filmmaker working at Voewood is a dream. The house has a very distinct character,  full of colour, texture, artwork, and detail, and that creates a completely different atmosphere compared to more traditional country estates. Weddings here tend to reflect that same energy.

There’s a sense of looseness to the way the day unfolds. Nothing feels overly structured or rigid. Guests move through the house and gardens freely, and the space naturally encourages people to relax into the day rather than follow a strict format.

From a filming perspective, that unpredictability is what makes Voewood so enjoyable to work at.

Voewood Wedding Videography

Every wedding I’ve filmed here has had its own rhythm. Some feel more chaotic and energetic, others more intimate and calm, but they all share a similar sense of personality running through the day.

The house itself is also constantly changing visually as the light moves through it. Interiors feel different throughout the day, and the mix of rooms, artwork, and architectural detail means there’s always something happening visually without needing to stage anything.

I’ve filmed a number of weddings at Voewood over the years, and no two have ever felt the same.
