Some weddings are elegant.
Some weddings are emotional.
Jade and Lewis’s wedding managed to be both while still feeling completely relaxed and effortless.
From the very start of the day, there was a calm confidence about everything. Nothing felt forced or over-planned. The entire wedding flowed naturally, allowing genuine moments to unfold throughout the day, which, as a wedding videographer, is always where the best footage comes from.
As a luxury wedding videographer, these are the weddings I enjoy filming most. Beautiful styling, incredible atmosphere and a stunning Holkham Hall venue. But with the focus always remaining on people rather than production. Jade and Lewis created a wedding that felt stylish without ever losing its personality.
The morning preparations had a quiet energy to them. Excitement without chaos. Anticipation without stress. Those slower moments before the ceremony often become some of the most important parts of a wedding film because they create contrast against everything that follows later in the day.
Jade looked incredible as she stepped into her dress surrounded by friends and family, while Lewis brought a calm, understated energy that perfectly balanced the day. Together, they made filming feel effortless because they were completely present in the moment from start to finish.
My approach to wedding videography has always been rooted in observation rather than direction. I want couples to experience their wedding day fully without constantly feeling like they are being filmed.
For Jade and Lewis’s wedding, that documentary approach allowed the film to feel natural, emotional, and timeless. Rather than staging moments, I focused on capturing reactions, atmosphere, movement, and all of the small in-between moments that couples often miss during the day itself.
The balance between elegance and energy made this wedding particularly rewarding to film. One moment felt intimate and cinematic, the next was full-scale celebration with packed dance floors and huge energy from guests.
Those contrasts are what make wedding films feel alive.
Luxury weddings do not need to feel overly polished or artificial. In fact, the best luxury weddings are often the ones that feel relaxed, emotional, and completely personal to the couple.
That’s exactly what Jade and Lewis achieved.
Every part of the day felt authentic to them, from the atmosphere during the preparations to the celebrations later in the evening. The result was a wedding film that feels both cinematic and honest, something that captures not just how the wedding looked, but how it felt to actually be there.
