Norwich Wedding Videographer

If you’re looking for a Norwich wedding videographer who can capture the day naturally, without turning it into a production, you’re in the right place. Most couples I work with tell me the same thing before the wedding.

“We’re not very comfortable in front of the camera.”

That’s exactly why my approach works. I’m Tom, the filmmaker behind Browns Films, a Norwich wedding videographer specialising in relaxed, documentary-style wedding films that feel natural, cinematic, and completely true to the day itself.

No awkward posing.
No forced moments.
No spending hours away from your guests.

Just honest storytelling and thoughtful filmmaking that lets you actually enjoy your wedding day while I quietly capture everything as it unfolds. With over 14 years of experience filming weddings across Norwich, Norfolk, and the UK, I focus on creating wedding films that feel timeless, emotional, and effortless to watch.

What Couples Really Want From Their Wedding Film

Most couples aren’t looking for a wedding film that feels overly staged or performative. They want to enjoy the day naturally, spend time with family and friends, and still come away with a film that genuinely reflects how everything felt.

That usually means avoiding:

Being directed all day
Endless posing and retakes
Cringe voiceovers or forced moments
A film that feels more like a music video than a wedding

At the same time, you still want the important moments captured beautifully, the ceremony, speeches, atmosphere, reactions, and all the smaller moments you never saw yourself. That balance between unobtrusive filming and cinematic storytelling is where experience matters most.

Wedding Videography Across Norwich & Norfolk

Norwich offers a brilliant mix of historic architecture, modern venues, and countryside settings all within a short distance of the city. From elegant city-centre weddings near Norwich Cathedral to relaxed countryside celebrations just outside the city, every venue has its own atmosphere and rhythm.

As a Norwich wedding videographer, being local means I already understand many of the venues, lighting conditions, and logistics that can shape the flow of a wedding day. It also means no unnecessary travel costs, no overnight accommodation fees, and the reassurance of working with someone who knows the area well.

I regularly film weddings across Norwich, Norfolk, and the surrounding countryside, including venues such as Voewood, Oxnead Hall, Godwick Hall, and Holkham Hall.

Frequently Asked Questions | Norfolk Wedding Videography

Do you work alongside photographers easily?

Absolutely. My approach is intentionally low-profile and collaborative. After 14 years filming weddings, I’m very used to working seamlessly alongside photographers without competing for moments or disrupting the flow of the day.

Do you film documentary-style wedding videos?

Yes – my work is rooted in documentary wedding videography. That means minimal staging, natural moments, and filming the day as it genuinely unfolds rather than heavily directing it.

Are you based in Norwich?

Yes. Browns Films is based in Norwich, Norfolk, and I regularly film weddings across East Anglia, London, and throughout the UK.

Do you cover all of Norfolk, or just certain areas?

I cover the entirety of Norfolk and Suffolk with no additional travel fees. This includes Norwich and the surrounding villages, the North Norfolk coast (Holt, Sheringham, Cromer, Wells, Burnham Market), the Broads, and the more rural areas of West and South Norfolk.

How far in advance should I book a Norfolk wedding videographer?

Most Norfolk couples book their wedding videographer 12–18 months in advance, particularly for summer and early autumn dates. Peak season, May through September tends fills quickly. I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every film receives the attention it deserves, so I’d recommend getting in touch as soon as your date is confirmed.

Do you travel outside Norfolk for weddings?

Absolutely. While Norfolk is my home base, I regularly film weddings across the UK and Europe. Travel is included within two hours of Norwich, for weddings beyond that, a flat travel fee applies. For international destination weddings, get in touch for a tailored quote.

Can we meet before we book?

Yes, I always recommend a conversation before booking, whether over a video call or in person if you’re local. It’s important that you feel completely comfortable with your videographer, and I want to make sure my approach is the right fit for your day.

What is your editing style?

My editing style is natural and understated. I favour natural colour grading, thoughtful pacing, and a strong emphasis on audio. I don’t use heavy visual effects, flashy transitions, or trendy edits that date quickly. The goal is always a film that feels timeless, one you’ll watch in twenty years and feel exactly the same way you did on the day.

How much does a Norfolk wedding videographer cost?

Wedding videography packages vary depending on coverage, deliverables, and the specifics of your day. I’m happy to share full pricing during our initial conversation. As a starting point, full-day coverage including a feature film and highlight edit begins from £2,500.
